2020 has already been a year for the history books and we’re only in June. One thing I desperately hope that’ll come from this year is change. Change in how we view our lives, our planet, and our animals. But also change in how the world sees its Black citizens. To say I’m devastated with all the stories coming from all over the world is an understatement, I had no idea it was so bad but that’s my white privilege. A privilege that I’ve never been comfortable with.

I will never understand what it’s like to be Black, but make no mistake, I stand with you.
